We collect the minimum.
Never sell data.

What we collect

• Newsletter signups: email address only. Stored in Beehiiv. Unsubscribe anytime via the link in any email.
• Site analytics: pageviews and subscription-form events via Vercel Web Analytics. Email addresses are not included in those analytics events.
• Reader feedback: the message you submit, its article, and an email address if you choose to provide one. Messages are forwarded to the editor through Resend. Avoid including sensitive personal information in feedback.
• Reactions: the selected reaction and article are recorded in server logs. Your selection stays visible until you leave or reload the page.
• Affiliate clicks: when you click an affiliate link, the destination service may set their own cookies. Those are governed by their privacy policy, not ours.

What we do not collect

• Phone numbers
• Payment information (we don't sell anything directly)

Video and external services

The Watch page loads thumbnails from YouTube’s image service. Google receives the requests needed to show those images. Selecting a video takes you to YouTube, which has its own privacy practices.

See Google’s privacy policy and Vercel’s analytics privacy documentation for those services’ practices. External links, including Instagram and affiliate destinations, open services with their own policies.
